Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Location: 1314 Park Avenue, Plainfield, New Jersey 07060
Duration: Contract
Shift: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM | 8-hour shifts | 24 hours/week
Responsibilities:
- Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures including organ imaging, function studies, and cardiac nuclear stress testing.
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals while following radiation safety guidelines.
- Operate nuclear medicine equipment and evaluate images using PACS to ensure diagnostic quality.
- Assist physicians during radionuclide procedures and therapeutic use of radioisotopes.
- Prepare radioactive tracer compounds and calibrate nuclear medicine equipment.
- Maintain proper records of radioisotope use, storage, and disposal in compliance with NRC and state regulations.
- Use systems such as EPIC and Nuclear Medicine Information System for documentation and scheduling.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and contamination-free imaging environment.
