Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Critical Care Float Pool position in Hawaii, requiring both ER and ICU experience with active HI licensure.
Details
- Critical Care Float Pool role in a hospital setting serving ER and ICU patient populations
- May float to other nursing units as a support nurse (not as primary nurse) to assist as needed
- Responsibilities may include telemetry monitoring, patient transport support, patient sitting, and floor expediting
- Serves as a member of the rapid response and code blue teams as needed
- 12-hour evening and night shifts on a variable schedule
- 72–80 hours per two-week pay period
Requirements
- Active Hawaii (HI) RN license required
- Current certifications required: BLS/BCLS, ACLS, and PALS
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
- Both ER and ICU experience are required for this position
Additional Information
- Provides primary care to ER and ICU patients with additional float support to other units as needed
- 13-week contract based on the Big Island of Hawaii
