Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Sonographer - Registered Cardiac Sonographer

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday, approximately 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• 5 days per week schedule with no call requirements
• Outpatient setting rotating between Scarborough, Kennebunk, and Biddeford locations
• Perform moderate-complexity echocardiographic exams independently
• Expected daily volume of up to 7 full echocardiograms and 1 limited echocardiogram per day
• Complete prereads on all studies
• Perform transthoracic, transesophageal, and stress echocardiograms
• Start IVs and administer Definity contrast
• Recognize abnormal findings and exercise sound clinical judgment
• Work independently with minimal onboarding required
• Adhere to established protocols, documentation standards, and quality expectations
• Graduate of accredited School of Sonography or equivalent experience required
• ARDMS or CCI certification in cardiac sonography required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 5 years of cardiac ultrasound experience required
• Experience with Philips EPIQ ultrasound systems and Epic EMR preferred
