Job Highlights
Location: West Valley City
Shift: Swing Shift
Pay Range: $30.00–$45.00 per hour (DOE)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 1:30 PM–10:30 PM with overtime
Some Saturdays required
Annual tool reimbursement (after one year), twice per year, up to $3,000
Advanced tools & technology
In house training and OEM certified development

Responsibilities
Perform inspections and preventive maintenance on diesel equipment
Diagnose and repair vehicle deficiencies
Complete adjustments and alignments; maintain precise service records
Work outdoors in varying weather conditions (heat, cold, wind, rain, snow)
Work flexible shifts including weekends, graveyards, and overtime
Apply proper repair practices for OEMs including:
Cummins, Paccar, Allison, Mack, Detroit, Caterpillar, Freightliner, Peterbilt, Autocar, Bendix, and WABCOWork with body manufacturers such as:
McNeilus, Heil, Labrie, Galbreath, Marathon, Wittke, American Hoist, WanyeTroubleshoot electrical systems: lights, relays, PLCs, proximity switches, ABS, electronic transmissions, engines, chassis components
Diagnose/repair hydraulic systems: pumps, valve bodies, cylinders, high pressure oil systems, fittings, lines
Work with pneumatic systems including air dryers, governors, compressors, relay valves, lines, fittings
CNG experience a plus
Maintain a valid driver's license (CDL preferred, not required)
Provide and maintain a full set of industry standard tools
Hold a high school diploma or GED
Required Skills & Experience
Strong knowledge of diesel OEMs and repair practices listed above
Familiarity with major body manufacturers
Experience with electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting
Valid driver's license (CDL preferred)
Full standard tool set
High school diploma or GED
CNG experience is beneficial but not required
