Position Overview
The Emotional Intelligence Counseling Center is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Outpatient Licensed Clinical Social Worker to join our team on a full-time basis. In this significant role, you will be instrumental in providing essential services and support to clients facing various challenges, including neglect, child abuse, domestic violence, mental health issues, and substance abuse. You will engage with clients primarily via telephone and in-person sessions, ensuring they receive comprehensive assessments, crisis interventions, and appropriate referrals to additional resources.

Work Environment
This position is remote, providing flexibility while allowing you to fulfill your responsibilities from the comfort of your home. As a full-time employee, you will adhere to a structured schedule from 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments of clients to gather relevant case information and identify their needs.
- Provide support and guidance through telephone and face-to-face consultations, assisting clients in accessing necessary services and resources.
- Engage clients in empowering activities that promote growth and healing.
- Document all interactions meticulously, maintaining accurate records and preparing reports as required.
- Facilitate crisis intervention strategies during urgent situations to ensure client safety and support.
- Identify and report signs of child abuse or neglect promptly as part of your ethical responsibility.
- Collaborate effectively with other agencies and healthcare providers for appropriate referrals and multi-disciplinary support.
- Participate in regular training, supervision, and team meetings to stay aligned with best practices and organizational standards.
Patient Population / Client Focus
You will work closely with a diverse range of clients who are experiencing acute and chronic stressors. This includes children affected by neglect and abuse, adults experiencing domestic violence, and families grappling with substance abuse issues. Your empathetic approach will be crucial in developing trust and rapport, thereby fostering a supportive environment for these vulnerable populations.
Qualifications
- A Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is required.
- Must possess a valid license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.
- A strong understanding of mental health, crisis intervention, and ethical practice in social work.
- Exceptional verbal communication skills and an acute ability to listen actively.
- Proficient in using technology and software applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Demonstrated ability to stay composed and empathetic during high-stress situations.
Preferred Experience
- Previous experience working directly with clients impacted by child abuse, domestic violence, and substance abuse.
- Experience in implementing treatment plans tailored to individual client needs.
- Familiarity with community resources and agencies that can further support clients.
- Knowledge of trauma-informed care practices is highly desirable.
Compensation and Benefits
Joining our team comes with competitive compensation, including a salary range of $90,000 to $100,000 per year.
