We're hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a travel contract role at a skilled nursing facility in Chase City, VA. Under the guidance of a licensed Occupational Therapist, you will help residents regain skills needed for daily living. Apply and a recruiter will reach out with next steps.
Minimum Requirements
- Associate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college.
- Active Virginia COTA license or ability to obtain state license prior to start.
- Current BLS certification from AHA or ARC is required or must be obtained prior to start.
- Client-specific: Experience working in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting is required.
- Client-specific: Ability to provide care consistent with a 32-hour per week schedule; typical assignment requires 4 x 8-hour shifts, days.
- Preferred: Prior experience with documentation in electronic medical records systems.
